Spring Country Road Engagement Session

The springtime is the perfect time to get your engagement photos done. The blooming flowers and vibrant colors of nature provide a picturesque setting that can’t be replicated. Pair a long quiet country road with a field of long grass, and you have yourself a recipe for a dreamy backdrop. Nature is one of my favorite photography backgrounds. There’s something incredibly serene and beautiful about the natural landscapes that make every photo feel timeless.

As I found my photography style developing, I realized that I am not really a city girl at heart. When I say “city,” I am talking about tall, cold glass and concrete buildings that make up the urban landscape. Although the city has its charm, with its bustling streets and modern architecture, my heart seems to lie with the rustic and natural scenes.

However, even in a city, you can find amazing and unique backdrops for engagement photos. Think of the great old colonial architecture downtown, which tells a story with its ornate details and historic charm. Picture a cobblestone alley street with floral vines growing along a white brick wall, adding a touch of romance and whimsy to the urban environment. These urban gems offer a perfect blend of the old and new, creating a unique contrast that can be surprisingly beautiful.

In the end, whether you choose the natural, serene landscapes of the countryside or the historic and modern elements of the city, what truly matters is the connection and love captured in those photos. Each setting has its own beauty and can provide an enchanting backdrop for those treasured engagement memories.
